I write and edit books
The glorious mystery of editing
For me, most of the writing process is editing. The first book I helped edit was What We Learned, a book about the first year of Wieden+Kennedy 12. I worked closely with Jelly Helm and Rob Kendall in the editing and creation of this self-published book.
I also did first-round edits on Amy Runyen’s sections of The Daily Book of Art and on Laura Hyunjhee Kim’s first book, Entering the Blobosphere: A Musing on Blobs.
The editing process is both satisfying and mysterious. I am currently studying developmental editing and am available for this service. If you would like me to take a look at your manuscript, send me an email.
Jana Means Yesterday
This self-published book was an experiment I finished in 2009. An interactive PDF of this manuscript will be online soon!
I just sent the second draft of my first book, Misplaced Majesty, to my editor. Bookmark this page for future updates on its release!
